Summertime

           a

      memory!

Time flys, "Wellington Festival of Circus" been and gone,"Horse of The Year" been and gone, "April school holiday Farm Club" been and gone, "Bill Noble's Dressage Clinics" been and gone, "Ruth's Mum visited from Switzerland" again and before we knew it she's gone again!!! seems like she only just got here!!! and so many other things have taken place since the January web page update. Sorry but no one sent me any pics from Horse of the Year so can't include.

So!... given it's April I guess an update is due......... as always I'll use photos as they really tell all that is to be told, I'll try and keep them as near as possible to chronological order. Hope you enjoy.

 Wellington festival of Circus:      A great success, and much of that was due to the enthusiasm, energy and huge effort put in by Deborah Pope of Awkward Productions. The weather was perfect over the whole weekend and hundreds of Wellingtonians came out to the waterfront venue and really enjoyed the event.

As usual Catarina, Ruth and Nora and the team of Kapiti Vaulters put on a great display, well done guys!!

Summertime is a fun time.... and our Larché Group members really know how to make the most of it....  Our riding for therapy group can grow but we do need more volunteers, it's a great couple of  hours on Tuesdays and believe me everyone has a great time! If you can help it would be appreciated by all concerned!

SUMMERTIME ALSO MEANS MORE TIME AT THE BEACH!!! and one of the good things about living near the sea is that we can do just that!!!

I Guess Party Time means getting dressed up in strange outfits!!! and singing outrageous songs! Club members and friends night out!... Not sure about the singing but the outfits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Yep it can get a bit trying from time to time, particularly with maximum numbers but at the end of the day everyone has had a great time. Ruth and her team do a magnificent job. Our special thanks to all who have given time to help.

The last two "Farm Club" School holiday programmes have been fully booked and like the riding for therapy groups we do need more volunteers to assist. It's really rewarding and fun, so if you can spare some time to help it would be appreciated.

For those parents wishing to bring their young ones along in the school holidays you really do need to book early and your kids will thank you for it and guess what you will enjoy the rest as well!!!
